Oldham walk-in service – Change of opening hours
NHS Oldham has agreed that the walk-in service on the ground floor of Oldham Integrated Care Centre on New Ratcliffe Street can change its opening hours from 7am to 11pm to 8am to 8pm. The new opening hours will operate with effect from Sunday 20^th May 2012.
Outside these hours there is still advice and treatment available from the out of hours GP Service GO To DOC, which will assess people over the phone, ask them to come to their centre to be seen or go out to visit them if necessary. GO To DOC can be contacted on 0161 336 3252. Patients can also make an appointment with the practice the following day.
Of course the NHS will always be there for patients in an emergency: 999 and A & E are available round the clock for serious or life threatening conditions and injuries.

Staff Training
It is important that the Doctors and other clinical staff keep themselves up to date with the changes in medicines and the way ailments are treated. That way they can ensure you get the best possible treatment. On the afternoon of the 2nd Tuesday of each month the surgery closes to allow for Staff training. We are sorry for this inconvenience but hope you will understand the importance of this. The surgery will reopen at 8am the following morning.
