We support a variety of medical research projects ranging from data collection to testing and monitoring new medications for conditions such as diabetes or heart disease.
New treatments and better care can only be developed through research and the help of patients and the public. Research enables the NHS to improve the health of the people it serves, both now and in the future.
If you’d like to find out more about research, take a look at the information and videos on the NHS’ health research website here: http://www.crncc.nihr.ac.uk/ppi
And next time you see your GP, why not ask if there are any trials you can join?
